  • Mood entries (1-10 scale, emotions, optional notes)

App Usage Data:

2. How We Store Your Data

Local Storage Only: All your personal data is stored exclusively on your device using Apple's secure Swift Data framework.

Device Encryption: Your data is automatically encrypted using your device's built-in security features.

No Cloud Servers: We don't operate any servers that store your personal data. Everything stays on your phone.

3. What We Don't Do

  • We don't send your data to any external servers
  • We don't track your usage or behavior
  • We don't use analytics or monitoring tools
  • We don't sell, share, or monetize your data
  • We don't require internet connection for core features
  • We don't access your data remotely

4. Internet Connections

Mind Well only connects to the internet for:

  • App Store subscription management (handled by Apple)
  • App updates and downloads
  • Loading this privacy policy and support pages

No personal data is ever transmitted during these connections.

5. Future Features

Optional CloudKit Sync: In future versions, we may offer optional device synchronization through Apple's CloudKit. This would:

  • Be completely optional and user-controlled
  • Use Apple's end-to-end encryption
  • Store data in your private iCloud space
  • Never give us access to your data

Even with CloudKit, your data would remain private and encrypted, accessible only by you.

6. Your Rights

  • Access: View all your data anytime within the app
  • Export: Export your data in JSON format
  • Delete: Delete individual entries or all data
  • Control: Complete control over what data is stored

7. Data Security

Device-Level Security: Your data is protected by your device's built-in security features, including device encryption and biometric authentication.

App Protection: Optional Face ID/Touch ID protection for accessing the app.

No Remote Access: Since data is stored locally, there's no risk of remote data breaches.

8. Children's Privacy

Mind Well is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.
